We are currently hiring a dedicated School Physical Therapist for the 2025–2026 school year to support PreK–12th grade students at a specialized school site. Position Details: Position: School Physical Therapist (On-Site Only) Location: Chicago Heights, IL Duration: August 2025 – May 2026 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (35 hours/week) Age Group: PreK–12th grade students with varying physical and complex learning needs Role Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services in alignment with students' IEP goals Evaluate and monitor motor function, mobility, and physical development Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support access to the school environment Document student progress and maintain compliance with special education regulations Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on accommodations and adaptive strategies Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Valid Illinois state PT license Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills Why Partner with Onward Search Education?
