"> As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine radiographic procedures, verifying demographics and technical information, and checking the technical quality of films. "> Essential Job Duties "> "> Process radiographic films, verify demographics and technical information, and check the technical quality of films. "> Complete procedures while maintaining quality of work within an established time frame. Ensure all pertinent information is correctly displayed on images and paperwork. "> Constantly assess patients' conditions and administer first aid as required. Assist physicians in cases of adverse reactions or emergencies. "> Provide radiation protection to all patients in compliance with prescribed safety standards. Attend required courses in radiation safety. "> Confer with managers to recommend changes, report problems, and provide feedback to improve patient care, technical quality, and clerical functions. "> Monitor supplies in assigned work areas and notify managers when shortages occur. "> Assure that assigned areas are stocked during each shift and monitor expiration dates of time-sensitive supplies, taking appropriate action when needed. "> Assist with the clinical education of rotating students and help orient new staff when necessary. "> Perform other duties as assigned, including billing, QA, etc. "> Maintain current licenses, CMEs, and participate in applicable educational activities as per regulatory requirements. "> "> Educational/Experience Requirements "> "> Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in an AMA-approved educational institution. "> "> Required Licenses/Certifications "> "> Current certification in diagnostic radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). "> Current State of Maryland licensure is required. "> Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
