About the Role: The Ambulatory Care Staff Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can work independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Key Responsibilities: Provides routine and complex care with the ability to develop long-range goals or plans Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed Administers medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, preferred BLS required; RN License in state of employment or compact Work Schedule and Benefits: This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
