Job Title: Clinical Educator II About the Role This is a critical position in the coordination of nursing continuing education programs. As a Registered Nurse Clinical Educator II, you will play a vital role in ensuring consistency with administrative and departmental policies. Responsibilities Maintain appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as promulgated by local, state, and federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities. Plan and implement educational activities to meet identified learning needs, utilizing adult education principles. Develop and utilize evaluative systems to determine the effectiveness of educational activities. Promote collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals. Participate in committees, task forces, meetings, and activities to assist in the development of staff, ultimately resulting in improved care. Participate in activities that promote professional development through education and other activities that enhance the practice of nursing and education. Develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, conduct, and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel. Support ongoing assessment and evaluation of expected levels of performance that integrate knowledge, skills, ability, and judgment. Design educational activities to address practice gaps for identified target audiences. Continuously assess and improve educational programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals.
