"," "," Responsibilities: "," "," Supports, evaluates, prioritizes, and supervises patient care and unit needs during assigned shifts. "," Serves as designee for unit matters in nurse manager/director absence. "," Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients. "," Evaluates staffing by considering mix of caregivers, patient volumes (current and anticipated), patient acuity, and staff availability. "," Demonstrates timely and effective communication skills in daily interactions with team members and others. "," Seeks to proactively improve quality of the services provided and patient care outcomes. "," Serves as unit champion and resource to staff for quality and patient safety initiatives and issues. "," Required certifications in area of clinical specialty within 3 years from ANCC or other approved credentialing entity.
