Required Skills and Qualifications: A Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is essential.
Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California is required.
Proficiency in using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) for diagnosis is necessary.
