Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate neonatal intensive care nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to families in need. Responsibilities: Provide routine and complex care to neonates and their families, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes. Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, including physical, emotional, and social aspects. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred. One year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred. BLS required; RN License in state of employment or compact required. Benefits: New hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial onboarding requirements are validated through successful completion of designated organizational entry competency validation and a Perinatal Services-specific competency validation. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements. Additional Information: Perinatal RN Residency or recently practicing in a Perinatal Setting is preferred. Current STABLE certification required from one of the following courses: Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor. Current NRP certification required.
