Dental Assistant & Receptionist (Float Position) - Part Time Newnan Perio & Implants

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable individual to join our dedicated team in a dual role as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. In this float position, you will support our providers chairside during treatment, contribute to exceptional patient care, and assist with front office responsibilities as needed. Schedule: Part Time, Tuesday and Friday 7:30am-3:00pm, Thursdays 7:30am-5:00pm (Occasional Wednesdays 7:30am-3:00pm)

Responsibilities

Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment Take and process X-Rays Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories Welcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of Dental assisting experience 1+ years of Dental receptionist experience Preferred Skills Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting Completion of a Dental Assisting program or Dental Assisting certification preferred according to State and individual practices Radiology certification preferred according to state and individual practices We Offer Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Package for Full Time Employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!

The salary range for this role is $15-$21 per hour.
