Job Title: Occupational Therapist School-Based Occupational Therapists are key members of the interdisciplinary team, providing vital occupational therapy services to school-aged children. Their primary focus is on enhancing fine motor and sensory integration skills in students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. Occupational therapists work closely with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each student's unique needs. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs to address various learning and behavioral challenges. Evaluate students' occupational roles and performance, identifying areas of strength and weakness. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive learning environment. Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: Masters or PhD degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy. Pediatric experience and/or School-Based background preferred. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
