JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians founded the hospital, and one of its cross streets is named after Dr. Reynaldo Carreon. Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown into a 145-bed acute-care hospital. It offers various services, including: Emergency care 24/7 Orthopedic and joint replacement services using emerging technology Cardiovascular services Maternity care and pediatric services Ambulatory surgery center Imaging services Outpatient Rehabilitation Center Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and in conjunction with the Medical Director, performs various radiologic procedures. These duties include: Monitoring patients during procedures Performing specialized radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols Working in various areas and with various equipment Assisting with QA and QI studies and patient flow coordination Maintaining and monitoring equipment operation and calibration Assisting the Radiologist with procedures and sterile technique This role requires independent judgment and necessary skills to obtain the best diagnostic images. Must work various shifts, weekends, and be able to be on call.
