Clinic Patient Care Specialist We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to provide high-quality patient care in a primary rural health clinic setting. As a Clinic Patient Care Specialist, you will work under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses to provide basic patient care duties, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens. Key responsibilities include: Performing various lab procedures when necessary and in accordance with competency Assisting providers in examination and treatment of patients and with procedures Assisting with patient flow through the clinic Answering phone calls/record messages and assisting providers with patient-related communications Documenting any information related to patient care Administering medications/immunizations according to provider order Maintaining sterile technique and utilizing universal protocol Performing routine clerical duties assigned Requirements for success in this role include: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Louisiana BLS Certification required
