Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and healthcare staff. Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental Support: Transport specimens, clean operating rooms, and maintain equipment and supplies as required. Daily Surgical Service: Prepare operating rooms, transport surgical patients, and ensure patient safety during transfers and procedures. Adheres to Infection Control Policies: Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to infection control policies. Ancillary Support: Manage daily testing, inventory expired supplies, restock common areas, and transport supplies between departments. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Nursing Assistant Certificate (Washington) at hire, and Basic Life Support certification at hire. Preferred qualifications include nursing assistant certification shortly after hire/transfer and two years of hospital experience. Work Schedule: This is a call-in/on-call job with standard hours, working 1 hour per week from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no travel required.
