Job Title: Grinder- ID We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality work in the most efficient manner while meeting established specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience operating setup on CNC ID grinding equipment and possess skills in using indicator, gage, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts. You will be responsible for: Setting up and operating grinding machines to produce parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications Selecting, mounting, attaching, and calibrating various attachments to grind angles, contours, lines, spheres, etc. on to surfaces Dressing and changing wheels for various finish requirements Maintaining accurate in-process quality inspection and records Identifying and recommending process improvements that reduce part quality variation Your key qualifications include: Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0003") of ID's, hold .0003 profile, roundness Understanding of machine tool accuracies, tool offsets Knowledge of cutting wheel feeds, speeds, and wheel life for aerospace grinding Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blue print and quality requirements Ability to communicate with employees and management in a positive manner Benefits of this role include: A dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development Competitive compensation and benefits package A chance to work with a talented team of professionals We offer a comprehensive training program and opportunities for advancement.
