Protect the Nation As a protective services professional, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation and its leaders. Our team is comprised of courageous, intelligent, strong and determined individuals who provide security for prominent figures. Provide protection for high-profile individuals and secure facilities. Travel with dignitaries and foreign heads of state/government. Enforce protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A. Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. Hold a current valid U.S. driver's license. Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 to be eligible for employment. Carry and use a firearm, maintaining proficiency is required. Meet strict vision requirements. Pass a hearing test and submit to random drug testing. Complete rigorous training programs at FLETC and James J. Rowley Training Center. Register with the Selective Service System or be exempt if male and born after December 31, 1959.
