Job Summary: A Radiologic Technologist will provide imaging services to patients in accordance with physician orders. The goal is to ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality images while maintaining a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities: Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while respecting their comfort and ability. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform general radiographic and specialty procedures through the use of radiological equipment. Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded. Contact physicians if discrepancies arise, following the radiology policy and procedure for changing orders from referring providers.
Essential Skills: Accurately input patient information into electronic medical records, including Radiology Information Systems. Orient patients before procedures, explaining exam details and expected outcomes. Maintain strict patient confidentiality, adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, treating patients with courtesy and respect while providing efficient service.
Basic Qualifications: Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program by time of hire. Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire Basic Life Support required at hire
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of direct experience with diagnostic procedures
