The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including approximately 75% Spanish-speaking patients, with translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants available. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care services 

• Conduct patient examinations and assessments 

• Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic conditions 

• Develop and implement treatment plans 

• Prescribe medications as needed 

• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic system 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines 

• Manage patient flow efficiently 

• Work effectively with translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants 

• Adapt to the needs of a diverse patient population 

• Perform duties as outlined in the core privileges document

Additional Information: 

• California Physician Assistant license required 

• Experience in primary care settings preferred 

• Strong skills in family practice essential 

• Excellent communication and patient care skills 

• Ability to work with diverse patient populations 

• Spanish language skills beneficial but not required 

• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system preferred
