General and OB anesthesiology coverage near Chicago - call rotation, diverse cases, and full travel support

Highlights

• Call starts light - every other weekend, moves to every third

Practice Setting

• Regional hospital with inpatient and outpatient care
• 8-11 ORs plus a dedicated GI suite
• Team includes 9 MDs and 2 CRNAs
• EPIC EMR

Schedule

• Monday-Friday surgical blocks (7a-4p)
• Call includes 1-2 weeknights and every other weekend initially
• Weekend call is 24 hours (8a-8a) in a 3-provider rotation

Cases and Procedures

• Full-spectrum cases: cardiac, neuro, ortho, OB, plastics, GI, and more
• Physicians handle 90% of cases personally
• CRNA supervision occasionally assigned

Requirements

• Board-certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Wisconsin license required
• ACLS, DEA, and COVID vaccination required
• Must be comfortable with OB and cardiac cases

Travel Accommodations

• All travel covered: airfare, lodging, rental car
• Located less than 1 hour from Chicago, IL
