We are actively seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This role is ideal for a professional looking to handle a significant volume of surgical and endoscopic cases. The position requires the ability to start surgeries quickly upon callback, offering an engaging and dynamic work environment for an experienced Anesthesiologist.
Job Details

- Start Date: Sep 10, 2025
- LOA: 6 days
- Provider Type Needed: Anesthesiologist
- Schedule: Daily shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM with on-call duties from 3 PM to 7 AM the following morning
Responsibilities and Duties
- Respond to surgical callbacks within 30 minutes.
- Manage approximately 150 surgical cases per month, plus 100 endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure the highest standards of anesthesia care and safety for all patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to plan and execute anesthesia plans.
Additional Information
- Board certification in Anesthesiology required.
- Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license.
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred.
