Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Texas licensed Anesthesiologists available for ongoing full-time locum tenens coverage at our partner hospital in San Angelo, TX beginning in December. Opportunity Specifics:

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Dates: December - Ongoing
• Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday
  • Also Considering One Week per Month Availability!
• Shift Hours: (6:30am - 3:00pm)
• Practice: 13 Operating Rooms
• Coverage: Own Cases (CRNAs are Independent)
• Call: No Call
• Cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Vascular Regional Blocks (No OB, Hearts or Transplants)
• EMR: Epic

Job Description:

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Texas State License
• Board Certified American Board of Anesthesiology
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Availability: 2 Days per Week
