About The Position
Job Title: Anesthesiologist Profession: Physician Specialty: Anesthesiology Duration: June 15th - September 30th Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM Experience: Minimum of 5 years with no risk and 5 or less affiliations. License: Must have a valid Florida license. Certifications: BLS, Board Certified, DEA, ACLS Must-Have: - Must have a clean file and background. - Must not have any prior malpractice history or background issues. - Must be Board Certified. - Board Eligible providers will not be accepted. Description: Urgent, short-term coverage is needed from June 15th through September 30th. Emergency privileges are available. Candidates must have no risk and five or fewer affiliations. Providers who have worked for the agency within the past 12 months and live within a 75-mile radius of the site are not eligible. Providers who have worked at this site or an affiliated site in the past 24 months are not eligible. New candidates who have never worked for the agency must live outside the 75-mile radius of the site. A call interview or Zoom Meeting with the Site Medical Director or Clinical Leadership will be required. Candidates should include their contact phone number and the best time to reach them over the next two weeks. A clinician will have the opportunity, if approved, on clinical call to ask any additional questions that are not specified in this job order. The primary site may require credentialing at multiple facilities. Staffing is the reason for this need. The average time for credentialing is 30-60 days. There are 90 operating rooms across the system. The types of cases include all specialties except trauma, transplant, and pediatric cases. Cases are typically 50% supervising and 50% own room. Training for the electronic medical record system is scheduled every Tuesday. Call and weekend work are not required, but they are available if desired. Candidates should be prepared to work at multiple sites as needed.
