North Carolina Interventional Cardiology Assignment

Highlights

• Block scheduling with 1-2 cath lab days/week
• Every 3rd weekend call (Friday-Monday)
• Heart caths only - focused scope of work
• Ongoing locums need
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice included

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient
• 7-8 heart caths per day
• Support from 3 RNs and 1 inpatient APP
• Adult-only patient population

Schedule

• Start 9/29/2025 - ongoing assignment
• 1-2 cath lab shifts per week (7a-5p)
• 1-2 weekday night calls (5p-7a)
• Weekend call every 3rd weekend (Fri 5p-Mon 7a)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (=5 years) in Interventional Cardiology
• Active NC license required (IMLC not accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 36 months of experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Standard hospital credentialing (approx. 90 days)
• Temporary privileges available
