    • June 19, 20, 21, 22

    • September 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

Position Overview

• Inpatient ED coverage only | No call

• Average ED Volume: 100 visits/day (1.8 patients/hour)

• Average Inpatient Census: 20

• ICU/Critical Care Duties: Yes

• Respond to All Codes: Yes

• After-Hours Admissions: Managed by Hospitalists

• Procedures: Full scope of standard emergency medicine procedures required

Candidate Requirements

• Licensure Active North Carolina Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

• Board Certification ABEM preferred; ABFM, ABIM, and ABPS accepted with required emergency experience

• Certifications ACLS, ATLS, PALS

• Experience Proficiency in critical care and standard ED procedures
