Opportunity Details:

• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Physician Coverage (24-30 shifts per month):
    • 6 AM - 6 PM
    • 6 PM - 6 AM
  • APP Coverage:
    • 7 AM - 6 PM
    • 5 PM - 4 AM
• Minimum Commitment: 3-6 months
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 32,000 patient visits
  • 18 ED Beds
  • No Trauma Designation
  • EM Physicians Respond to Codes
  • Hospitalists Handle All Admissions
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scribe Coverage: None
• Travel Lodging: Provided

Patient Load Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 2.84

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM)
• Licensure: Active Unrestricted AL State License DEA
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS, ATLS, PALS (ATLS waived if ABEM boarded)
