Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Rock Hill, SC. This position offers high patient volume, strong specialty backup, and competitive compensation in a Level III Trauma Center transitioning to Level II status.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Rock Hill, SC (Cross-Credentialing at Affiliated Facilities)
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Day Shifts: 6 AM – 4 PM, 6 AM – 6 PM, 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Evening Shifts: 4 PM – 2 AM
  • Night Shifts: 6 PM – 6 AM, 8 PM – 8 AM
• Minimum Commitment: Flexible (6+ months preferred)
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 54,750 patient visits
  • 45 ED Beds
  • Trauma Designation: Currently Level III, credentialing for Level II ongoing
  • Subspecialty Backup: All major specialties available
  • Admitting Orders: Handled by inpatient teams
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scribe Coverage: Available at cost
• Travel & Lodging: Provided
• Temp Privileges: Available for qualified candidates

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 2

Procedures & Responsibilities:

• Required Procedures: All typical emergency medicine procedures
• Code Response: Yes

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility)
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted SC State License & DEA
• Required Certifications: ACLS
