We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting on Aug 11, 2025. The role includes a standard Monday to Friday schedule with day shifts from 8am to 4:30pm, involving direct oversight as an Acting Medical Director and comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as Acting Medical Director, overseeing 2-3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Conduct daily infirmary rounds each morning
• Perform weekly rounds in restricted housing units
• Manage physicals, emergency, and admission consults
• Address general medical cases such as colds, coughs, flu, suturing, and splinting
• Complete regular charting and reviews of EMR queues
• Review lab results and x-ray diagnostics

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine
• Corrections experience is beneficial
• EMR: Utilize a non-specified EMR system for patient management
