Gastroenterology Locums - North Carolina Physician

Inpatient GI opportunity in North Carolina, near Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), with 24-hour coverage and expedited credentialing

Highlights

• 24-hour coverage - scheduled clinic + beeper call
• Expedited credentialing for clean background
• Multiple providers needed - secure ongoing shifts

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital-based role
• No teaching or APP supervision
• Athena and Cerner EMR systems

Schedule

• Monday-Friday clinic, 8a-5p
• Beeper call from 5p-8a and weekends (1:3 ratio)
• Callback rate: ~20%

Cases and Procedures

• Endoscopy, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, obstructions
• Common GI emergencies (e.g., liver failure, pancreatitis)
• ERCP and advanced scopes preferred but not required

Requirements

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology
• Active North Carolina license required
• BLS certification required

Travel Accommodations

• All travel covered: airfare, rental car, and lodging
• Nearby lodging: Courtyard by Marriott, Hickory, NC
