Locums Gastroenterology Physician - Idaho

This Idaho-based GI assignment offers block scheduling, strong support, and full travel coverage near Salt Lake City International Airport.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient procedures
• Join 4 physicians and several APPs (clinic-based)
• Anesthesia support provided - no CRNAs
• Adults only

Schedule

• Monday to Monday block schedule
• Mornings: rounds + 4-6 outpatient procedures
• Afternoons: inpatient consults and procedures
• Night call from hotel - very manageable

Cases and Procedures

• General GI with consults and procedural mix
• 6-8 consults/day and 1-3 inpatient procedures
• ERCP preferred; EUS optional

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Idaho license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
• Easy access via Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)
