Gastroenterology Locums Physician - South Carolina

Work inpatient GI with weekday APP support in South Carolina. Assignment is near Florence with multiple blocks still open this year.

Highlights:

• Inpatient GI coverage with weekday APP assistance
• Light weekend volume
• ERCP and Moderate Sedation not required
• Only 1-2 weeks per month - you pick the blocks

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based inpatient service
• Procedures performed in OR if needed on weekends
• APP on-site support Monday to Friday

Schedule:

• 24-hour call coverage during assignment
• Inpatient rounding, consults, and procedures
• Lighter volume expected on weekends
• Summer and fall blocks still open - secure your preferred weeks

Cases and Procedures:

• GI scopes and emergent procedures
• 15-20 new consults daily
• Inpatient procedural focus - no clinic

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Gastroenterology
• Active South Carolina license
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations:

• Travel, lodging, airfare, and rental car covered
