Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital-based coverage
• No clinic, rounding, or teaching responsibilities

Schedule

• 24-hour call shifts (8a-8a), typically weekend blocks
• Beeper call with 20-minute response required
• Round on patients and respond to OB and GYN emergencies

Cases and Procedures

• Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, and breech
• GYN surgeries including open and laparoscopic
• OB ultrasounds and interpretation required

Requirements

• Board-certified in OB/GYN
• Active North Carolina license and DEA with NC address
• NC Medicaid, Medicare/PECOS enrolled
• Fully vaccinated and able to provide case logs

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging in hospital apartments near facility
• Up to $500 reimbursed for travel costs
