An ongoing Pediatric Orthopedics locums assignment is now available in Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a long-term, part-time role with a predictable schedule. Limited dates are still available for a fall start.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only coverage.
• Focus on patients aged 17 and under.

Schedule

• Consistent schedule of just 7 shifts monthly.
• Work in convenient, rotating blocks.
• Assignment is 24-hour call coverage with a 30-minute response time.

Procedures and Cases

• Day-to-day work consists mainly of consultations.
• Perform a full complement of pediatric orthopedic procedures.
• Includes some trauma cases.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years of training).
• BC in Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, or Pediatrics.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must have at least 24 months of experience.
