Interventional Radiology Locums Physician - California, 1-2 Weeks/Month

Interventional Radiology assignment available in Southern California, near Riverside.

Highlights

• Only 1-2 weeks per month - dates still open
• No supervision required
• Level I trauma support with IR team in place

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and scheduled outpatient cases
• Large hospital with IR nurses, techs, and resident support
• EPIC and Sectra systems in use

Schedule

• Weeklong blocks or weekday daytime shifts
• 7:30a-4:30p typical hours with some emergency flexibility
• Call coverage is often 1 week at a time

Cases and Procedures

• Core IR: bleeding embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, biopsies, drainages, dialysis catheters
• Occasional PE thrombectomies
• No peripheral vascular or Y-90

Requirements

• California license + Fluoroscopy certification
• BC/BE in IR or DR with VIR fellowship
• Minimum 1 year post-fellowship preferred (new grads with strong case logs considered)

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered
• Mileage reimbursed for in-state travel
