Highlights of the Position:

• Anesthesiology Residency Program/18 state-of-the-art operating rooms

• Level I Trauma Center/ 40% of your time doing your cases, 60% of your time medically directing CRNAs and Residents/ Teaching opportunities with regular rotations of residents and medical students.

• Robust EHR used in all areas, including the operating room (EPIC 10-Star health system, top 1% of EPIC Organizations)

• The Anesthesia Department manages the OR schedule, providing the necessary structure for a smooth, efficient workday

Work-Life Balance:

• 4-6 Weeks of vacation time//5 Personal days per year// 7 Holidays//Generous CME

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits:

• Above industry average salary - $525K to $575K total comp

•$25K Starting Bonus and $25K Retention Bonus after one year

• $15K Quality/Citizenship Bonus available yearly

Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance

• Malpractice/Liability Insurance, including tail coverage

• Retirement savings plan (403B) with employer match (1/2 of the first 6% that you invest) and (1-3.5%) age-based contributions

• Allowance for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate, and renewals

• $10,000 referral bonus if you refer a physician that we hire on a full-time basis - $20K if your referral is another Anesthesiologist

Career Development: Meeting time – 14 days with options for home study

• Annual reimbursement for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies

• Seven residency programs, including the Anesthesiology Residency. The successful candidate also has the potential to participate in medical student education. Physician Mentoring and leadership training opportunities are available.

RELOCATION Supportive Transition: Relocation expenses paid – up to $15K for qualified candidates (subject to taxes). Trailing spouse placement assistance available. Physician professional and social special interest groups. Dedicated onboarding specialist and provider services team.

About the Facility: A 254-bed tertiary care referral center, Hospital, Sayre, PA, has received numerous national awards for the high-quality care it provides to patients – AND - Corning, NY Hospital is a rural hospital and Level III trauma center in Corning, New YorkThe hospital is the region's only Level I Trauma Center, accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, and is served by Air, a regional aeromedical helicopter program. Offers a full range of diagnostic, medical, and surgical services.
