About the Role:

Performs a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides assistance and preparation prior to and during examination by health care providers.

Prepares examination/treatment rooms for patients.

Interviews patients for nature of visit and takes vital signs.

Prepares and assists health care provider during examination and procedures

Requirements:

Education:  High School diploma/GED preferred, Competion of Medical Assistant curriculum or equivalent

Certification:  American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR

Experience:  Prior medical assistant experience
