Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting. Perks Of Becoming a TAUC Team Member A highly competitive hourly base pay Bonuses awarded bi-weekly based on daily patient volume metrics to reward providers working at high volume locations 100% funded health, dental, and vision plan options Flexible scheduling that creates a work-life balance with no on-call or inpatient duties Malpractice coverage No out-of-pocket costs for visits at all TAUC locations Career advancement opportunities with compensation to the Training Team and Medical Director Annual CME allowance and licensure reimbursement 401k match Wholesale club base membership reimbursement (Amazon Prime, Sam’s Club, Costco, or BJ’s Requirements What You’ll Do: Responsible for clinical/medical practice oversight Provide clinical direction and training to providers Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of minor fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration Communicate test results, follow-up care, and other treatment plans as appropriate Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting Minimum Qualifications Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred Licensed in state of practice Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D Experience with reading diagnostics studies, including X-rays and EKGs Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred ACLS and PALS Certification preferred The Urgent Care Group Network includes more than 55 centers operating as six brands: AnMed Urgent Care in partnership with AnMed in South Carolina, Covenant Health Urgent Care in partnership with Covenant Health in Tennessee, Health Choice Urgent Care in partnership with Northside Hospital in Georgia, Medac Urgent Care in North Carolina, MEDcare Urgent Care in South Carolina, and Total Access Urgent Care in Missouri and Illinois.
