Job Overview The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in the healthcare industry, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. This position involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients, educating them on nuclear medicine procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Skillset Required Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role, as is the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Proficiency in PC skills is also necessary, as well as the ability to grasp, fine manipulate, and move equipment (50-100lbs). Mental requirements include coping with frequent contact with the general public, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working under close supervision occasionally.
