MRI is looking for highly motivated individuals who would like to work in a busy Level One Trauma Center where MRI operates 24/7 on 3 GE High Field Scanners.
Summary:
The MRI Technologist – Research Implant Screening Specialist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and safety standards. This role includes advanced responsibilities in implant and device screening, coordinating with research teams and clinical staff to ensure MR safety compliance for patients with complex or investigational implants. This technologist will serve as a subject matter expert on MR conditional devices and participate in MR safety research and workflow optimization.

Qualifications
Requirements:
MRSO required.
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program. Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in MRI Technology preferred.
State of Connecticut Radiographer license, ARRT certification in Radiography required. ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) preferred.
