Job Title : Neurologist Location : Broward County, FL Employment Type: Full-Time The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including: Detailed patient history reviews Thorough neurological examinations Interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies (e.g., MRI, CT, EEG) Ordering and interpreting relevant laboratory tests Performing nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including: Medical management of neurological conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, epilepsy, dementia) Non-pharmacological interventions (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) Coordination of care with other specialists (e.g., neurosurgeons, physiatrists, neuropsychologists) Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing neurological procedures. Manage acute neurological conditions, such as stroke and seizures. Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in neurology and neurotherapeutics. Maintain a high level of clinical competence and adhere to evidence-based guidelines. Qualifications : Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency program in Neurology. Board Certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN
