Position Highlights Position: Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Medicine Work Type: PRN / Per Diem Location: Alamogordo, NM Schedule: Schedule: Per diem, as needed

Shifts scheduled 2+ months in advance

Facility Overview: 20 ED beds

10–12 recliners for fast-track and vertical patients

Patient Population: Full age spectrum

Acuity typical of a community emergency department

Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department

Provide high-quality, efficient care across varying acuity levels

Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams

Support CHRISTUS Health’s mission of compassionate, patient-centered care

Experience & Preferred Background Emergency Medicine experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements Eligible for or currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Mexico
