This setting is a 46-bed critical illness recovery hospital. We help patients who need extended recovery time after ICU or Trauma unit stays. Shift: 3x12 night's (7PM to 7AM) Duration: 13 week contract with extensions Requirements: Valid State RN License BLS required at hire Critical care experience (Med Surg, Step Down, ER, ICU, Trauma Unit, etc.) Plusses: Charge nurse experience Day to Day: Manage admissions/transfers to the unit Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments Document accurately using appropriate systems Interpret assessment/diagnostic data (labs, telemetry) Ensure medical orders are processed accurately Handle Rapid Response and code events Promote continuous quality improvement Instruct and counsel patients/families
