Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and other teams to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate, safe, patient-centric anesthetic care in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physiologic status and anesthetic considerations for surgical procedures, continuously monitoring vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry as needed.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation within the accordance of hospital and regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and protecting sensitive information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
Exhibit high standards of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care, serving as a positive role model for colleagues and peers.
Pursue ongoing professional development through projects that advance competency and enhance skills, staying current with best practices and industry developments.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program from a recognized educational institution.
Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
Prefer prior clinical experience as a CRNA within the specialty/service line; however, relevant training and education can be considered.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, CRNAs, and Certified Nurse Midwives must hold appointment to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and complete credentialing through the Medical Staff process.
Ability to stand for extended periods, wear lead aprons as needed for fluoroscopy and X-ray cases, lift 25 pounds, and reach above and below shoulder height is required.

The CRNA will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to negotiate patient care environments and move self/patients between anesthesia locations is essential.
