Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech works alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member, including doctors and nurses.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.

* 1+ years' patient care experience.

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).

Preferred Job Requirements

* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

* Hospital experience.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
