Career Opportunity in Pediatric Nursing We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN, Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient assessment, medication administration, and post-operative care skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources. Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred. 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred. BLS required; RN License in state of employment or compact.
