Job Title: Pediatric Surgical Care Specialist The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the perioperative process. This position involves managing tracheostomy (trach) care with ventilator support, addressing respiratory conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided. Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers on various topics. Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred. 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred. RN License in state of employment or compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
