Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Assistant) – Contract to Hire

Worksite Type: Fully On-Site

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Sunday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Pine Brook, NJ. In this role, you will assist in processing and filling prescription orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are critical to delivering life-saving medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve medication from stock and prepare orders for pharmacist review.
• Count, package, and label prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.
• Replenish workstation supplies (vials, caps, labels, etc.).
• Remove outdated products from shelves and assist with inventory replenishment.
• Occasionally contact patients for customer service inquiries regarding shipped orders.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• License: Must hold a valid New Jersey State Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience: Prior experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Skills: Ability to work with multiple computer systems simultaneously, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
