Job Description Summary: Evaluates and treats patients referred by a licensed physician. Actively supervises and participates in the care of patients treated by Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants and Athletic Trainers. Complies with hospital policies and supports the mission and values of the hospital. Licensure/Certification/Registration : The Physical Therapist must be duly licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Education: The Physical Therapist must be a graduate of an APTA or other accredited school of Physical Therapy. Physical Therapists may have Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degrees. Experience: Physical Therapists should have as a minimum, broad experience in a variety of different clinical settings through their APTA or other accredited clinical internship programs.
