Goodlife Physical Medicine is looking for a per diem or part-time Licensed Physical Therapist to work in our El Segundo, Redondo Beach and/or Seal Beach locations. *This is a part-time role that will likely turn into full-time due to our current growth (if desired by the applicant). Responsibilities Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop a treatment plan Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to Goodlife standards of practice as well as state standards Maintain patient records and keep track of goals and progress Document patient care services by charting in our EMR Educate patients and their families about the recovery process along with possible challenges. Instruct patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies Qualifications Degree from an accredited University in Physical Therapy Certification in Physical Therapy and valid state license to practice Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour Medical Specialty: Orthopedics Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine Sports Medicine Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
