Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team as an Independent Contractor, serving a busy county hospital. This position would be for an Independent Contractor with competitive compensation that offers autonomy over one’s clinical practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive podiatric care in outpatient clinics at multiple locations in Contra Costa County (Martinez, San Pablo and Pittsburg) Perform podiatric surgeries (elective and urgent), as indicated Participate in on-call coverage Qualifications: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from an accredited school of podiatry License to practice podiatry in California Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program Board certification or eligibility in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Valid DEA license Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Excellent problem-solving skills Good team player; ability to work collaboratively with the podiatry team and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively educate and treat patients Experience and proficiency in treating patients with wounds and limb-threatening conditions. Surgical training in forefoot, rearfoot procedures Fluoroscopy license required for surgical privileges New fellow/residency graduates encouraged to apply.
