Radiologic Technologist Job Opportunity Demanding medical professionals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are needed to fill this role. The selected individual will be responsible for conducting diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.

About the Role This position requires a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or an RT with specialized training to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray and CT scanners. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time wisely, and maintain accurate records of patient information.

Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Verifying patient identity and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete prior to examination. Interviewing patients to obtain medical histories and assess potential risks associated with the exam. Explaining the procedure to the patient, including any side effects or complications that may arise. Setting up and operating imaging equipment as per script. Reviewing images for quality and making initial observations before reporting to radiologists. Recognizing and responding to medical emergencies promptly and appropriately. Providing post-exam instructions to patients and offering guidance on follow-up care when necessary.

Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements: Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required within six months of hire. Skill sets include analytical and clinical skills, interpersonal communication skills, technical knowledge, and ability to multitask.
