Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY: 

According to unit and hospital policies and procedures, the Cardiology Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of the patient before, during, and after their procedure. The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care for multiple patients on the unit. The RN provides leadership and direct supervision of patient care which is provided by Licensed Vocational Nurses and Patient Care Technicians. The Cardiology Registered Nurse provides superior guest relation skills while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
