About the Role:
Medadventures is seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation programs in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You‘ll work closely with Physical Therapists to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist.
Provide hands-on therapy to improve patient mobility, balance, and strength.
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active state PTA licensure and certification.
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong teamwork and patient-focused mindset.
